Blistex Lip Massage Review

I got this lip balm through the post a couple of weeks ago and was more than happy to review it, as I have had good experiences with Blistex lip balms in the past.

What's in it and what does it do?
It contains aloe vera, shea butter and squalane. It aims to soften and protect the lips, just like all good lip balms. I found that this worked better for me as an intensive treatment than an everyday lip balm. When I used it to care for my already soft lips, it didn't do much. However, when I applied it onto severely dry lips (thanks MAC Ruby Woo) it nourished my lips back to its top form!

How much and how long?
It costs £1.83 for 3.7g of product and you can easily find it in Boots. You don't need to use much - This will probably last me a good few months as I will only be using it as an intensive treatment.

How does it smell?
It has a pleasant non-offensive scent to it.. Reminds me of those sherbet fruity sweets (fizzy Haribo, maybe)?

Other comments:
It has an unique applicator tip 'to massage the lips' but I don't think it does much to be honest. If anything causes product build up, which you have to wipe off every now and then. It has a cooling sensation to it.. Not tingly though! Oh and it contains SPF 15 :)

Recommend?:
Would I buy it myself? Yes - I will definitely be reaching for this whenever my lips need to be restored back to its natural happy form haha.
Would I recommend it? If your looking for a cheap intensive treatment for your lips, then I would recommend this.
