There were so many products at the Superdrug launch back in Feburary that I missed out on telling you all about their new bath & body range - Arora. It's now available in-store and online at their introductory prices so I thought now would be the perfect time to review two of the products from their range!
Sweet Vanilla Body Butter (200ml) -
The body butter has a very thick texture but I can't say that it is up there with the best of them - It just wasn't as moisturising as I expected it to be, even though it felt quite 'heavy'.
The scent is quite unique... It has a very smoky vanilla scent (maybe Heston Blumenthal got hold of it) but it is definitely still sweet ;)
Overall, given the price it is a pretty good body butter but I probably wouldn't get this one again. I may give one of the other scents a go though... I am thinking Coconut Creme next!
Pomegranate Passion Shower Nectar (400ml) -
Firstly, I love the curvaceous design of the bottle! The shower gel itself lathers up quickly and produces a lovely amount of bubbly lather. It also doesn't leave the skin feeling too tight or greasy after washing off.
The first thing that actually attracted me to this was the scent... It smells like a mixture of cranberry juice and Fanta fruit twist! Whatever is going on there, it is gorgeous!
I much prefer my soaps to my shower gels but this is one I would recommend checking out :)
All the products from Arora are £3.99 but it is currently available for £2.99 from Superdrug.
There are 6 different fragrances/flavours to choose from and you can choose from the bath shimmer, shower nectar (gel), body scrub and body butter!
